Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have a Master of fine arts (Department of Vocal and Acting Studies) from Lodz Musical Accademy in Poland and I've performed professionally as an opera singer in Baltic Opera. In 2020 I got a special scholarship from prestigious Accademia D'Arte Lirica in Italy. Apart from opera experience, I was a leader of the alternative rock band for many years. Currently I continue my career in Italy singing in many opera theaters and teaching. As a vocal coach I specialize in multi-genre styles such as classical, musical, pop, rock and jazz. I put emphasis on the breathing techniques, enhancing body awareness, correct emission, musicality, interpretation, pure intonation and diction.
