Modern Music, Electronic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Classical... I am an international polyinstrumentalist with a diploma in violin from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I started playing the Piano and Violin at the age of 4 and I am an active performer throughout Europe, with 20 years of experience teaching this instrument. In addition, I have had the honor of being an official Violin Tutor of the educational sector of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, which further enriched my pedagogical background. My advanced training in Jazz and electronic music complements my approach, allowing me to offer a diversified range of both acoustic and electric violin and my repertoire ranges from classical pieces to modern music. I am pleased to present my violin classes, both acoustic and electric, specifically designed to address a wide range of musical styles and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, offering a nurturing learning environment. My methodology combines traditional elements, Russian influences and Suzuki method approaches, and I carefully adapt it to the individual needs of each student. An example program from one of my classes includes goal definition, a solid technical foundation, followed by exploration of classical and/or modern repertoire. I encourage musical expression and creativity, which allows my students to develop their own performing style. What gratifies me most as a teacher is sharing the joy of music and the passion for this versatile instrument. For me, seeing my students grow and enjoy music is a privilege. During this course you will be able to acquire all the necessary tools to learn from scratch the knowledge and skills necessary to play the violin or viola, learn to read sheet music and understand the general functioning of music through the Suzuki methodology and others. I have demonstrable experience in teaching violin and viola to children and young people at a beginner and intermediate level. Learning to play a musical instrument is not only an artistically enriching activity, but it also offers a wide range of benefits that positively affect various areas of the lives of those who immerse themselves in learning it. Learn to play the violin feeling motivated and playing the music you like! My method is flexible, I use different techniques to always be able to focus on the needs of the student, and so that they can also set their own pace. I think it is important to work on the technique of the instrument so that the student advances having a solid base and can feel comfortable with the instrument. I always try to offer students the possibility of choosing some of the pieces that we are going to play, so that they feel more motivated, as long as it is appropriate for their level and we can work on the technique of the instrument at the same time. I think it is very important that the student enjoys learning and that the classes are adapted to their level, their tastes and of course their age. As an experience, I have been giving private violin classes for 10 years and 6 years teaching violin and other musical subjects in academies. In all these years I have learned to identify the weaknesses and facilities of the students, which helps me to personalize the classes based on what each student needs. In this course you will be able to learn from the basic principles of the instrument, such as its parts and the functionality of each of them without neglecting the parts of the bow and a little of its history, seeing how its structure has been changing. with the evolution of music and the instrument, learning how its mechanics work and talking a little about the different materials from which they can be made. You will also learn how to have a correct posture when taking the instrument, avoiding all kinds of long-term injuries and taking advantage of gravity as a resource in favor with different relaxation and naturalness exercises that will make us be one with the Violin.

In this class you will learn a lot about the basic mechanics, techniques and exercises for violin playing. I will walk you through all the basics depending on the level you are at. After we have gone through the basics we will start to experiment more with different pieces. I can teach you how to play any genres of songs you like. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

For those interested, I can also gladly include some music theory/music history knowledge in the lessons, to understand the pieces on a more profound level.
