About Me

I am a dedicated piano and clarinet player and teacher who loves to share my passion with others. I enjoy passing on my enthusiasm for music to others and bring a love for music to every lesson, which is why I so thoroughly enjoy teaching.

For the last eight years, I have studied at various conservatories in Europe, finally joining a conservatory in Paris as a music teacher. This last experience has given me the necessary tools to help my students achieve their goals.

What you can expect from me is a deep understanding of music theory, technique and performance, as well as a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students of all ages can explore their musical talents. I am open to hearing their musical ambitions and adapting my teaching methods to suit their aims.

As part of my personal and professional development, I particularly enjoy working with orchestras, chamber music groups and other formations throughout Europe. It is very helpful for me to keep in touch with the music world in an active way and it keeps me motivated to continue learning, thus enriching my teaching and keeping it up to date.

My Spanish lessons are relaxed, practical, and fully adapted to each student’s needs and goals. As a native Spanish speaker, I focus on helping you use the language in real life situations, whether you're learning for travel, school, work, or just for fun.

I like to keep lessons interactive and engaging, combining conversation, grammar, listening, and vocabulary in a balanced way. Depending on your level and preferences, we can focus more on speaking practice, grammar basics, writing, or listening comprehension.

In a typical lesson we usually start with a quick review or casual conversation to warm up, then move into the main topic of the day , which could be a grammar point, vocabulary theme, or a dialogue. I’ll guide you through explanations, examples, and practice exercises. We’ll also include plenty of speaking time and often end with a short recap or mini-task for next time.

As a native speaker with a clear and neutral accent, I can help with pronunciation, fluency, and natural expressions but of course I would be adapting the lessons to each student's goal.

I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject.
