Trusted teacher: As part of a double-degree program with École Polytechnique in France, I completed a Master's degree at École Polytechnique Montréal in Electrical Engineering between 2016 and 2018. I am currently working as an engineer in the simulation of electrical networks. I have been teaching baccalaureate students in Montreal for two years. In total, I supervised 8 students, 5 of whom are at Polytechnique Montréal. I had to teach Calculus I (continuations, series, multivariate functions), Calculus II (Double Integrals, Triples), Algebra, Static, Resistance of Materials, Differential Calculus, Programming (C, Java, Python). During the five years in France, I also gave private lessons through organizations such as LaptiTude Prépas (with which I had to prepare a final class for the French baccalaureate) or Scolaridée, but also as self employed. My training is very complete in Mathematics, Physical and Industrial Sciences and Computer Science, I gave private lessons in these disciplines, to students whose level was from the 4th secondary to the bachelor's degree (bachelor in Montreal) I always set with the student the objectives that we want to achieve, then we establish a program of progression and follow-up in order to cover all the needs. Trusted teacher: Teacher for 20 years, holder of a master's degree in English, having lived in an English-speaking country for 5 years, I give, at the learner's choice, general English lessons, reverse pedagogy lessons (see explanations below ) or English conversation lessons. I am indeed keen to offer the learner a course that meets their expectations and needs as best as possible. Because it is not easy to dare to express yourself in a foreign language, I like to work in a caring atmosphere, without judgment, sometimes speaking French when it reassures the learner. Keep in mind that the most important thing is practicing oral comprehension/expression. An hour of conversation lessons allows you to practice the language orally for an hour, with only brief corrections of your errors and a quick reminder of the vocabulary/grammar you are missing. If you wish to go more in-depth into grammar, vocabulary and written comprehension, it is advisable to favor courses lasting 1h30 to 2h to reserve a minimum of 1h for practicing expression and oral comprehension. You then have two options: 1. In a one-hour general English course, allow 15 minutes of grammar, 15 minutes of written comprehension and vocabulary, 15 minutes of oral expression and 15 minutes of listening comprehension. So plan on a two-hour course if you want to have a minimum of 1 hour of oral expression/comprehension (30 minutes of each). 2. If you want to opt for a more economical solution, you can also count on a 1h30 course and follow a reverse teaching course. Trusted teacher: Interested in Russian? Do you already have a little patience? a lot of passion? of curiosity and love for learning? all you need is to find a good teacher? You are in the right place :) I find it remarkable that my first student, starting 14 months after our first meeting, knows how to hold a good conversation in very difficult Russian and on various subjects and does not need to speak French at all to make me understand his ideas! It's a miracle? Or just the result of our work ?! Since then my teaching methodology has been enhanced by the chance to meet students from different countries, literally from all professional backgrounds and ages, with different interests, dreams, hobbies, needs. This year, one of my students was able to catch up with 2 years of learning Russian in 2 months and there he follows courses at the college with other schoolchildren for whom it is the 3rd year of learning the Russian language at school. So, are we breaking new records together? :) I'm not going to teach you these 'robot' phrases, my real intention is only to make you love the language, our culture, our traditions, to make you understand our logic, way of living, of seeing things and much sure to teach you to speak the language! And to achieve this, I carefully prepare my lessons drawing inspiration from different sources such as Russian textbooks as the foreign language (all levels from A1 to C2) grammar books, videos, songs, articles press, exam models, I myself make little 'surprise' cards or I imagine little games to make my students revise and reinforce the knowledge received and of course, why not a little Russian literature. Marie is a wonderful teacher. When I first met her my son's English level was very low, he wasn't even able to spell the alphabet. But Marie taught him well, and in a short time of about two months, my son was able to speak English, spell words and even make full sentences correctly. I have been playing trumpet for about 5 years, growing every time. I wanted a new trumpet teacher to help my trumpet technique and skill of improvisation. From the first lesson I really liked Oleg. He has a natural way of teaching, is very knowledgeable, and respectful to your level. He is really a good teacher, and worth signing up with. Recommend 100%.
