I have a Bachelors in Marine Biology with conservation and biodiversity, which has been put to use in the Middle East through school trips for international children. I have recently returned to Geneva, where I am a freelance SCUBA Instructor, which I regularly combine with biology lessons.
As a native English speaker, I have previously taught English language to children. I am level B1 at French and would also teach English in exchange to advance my personal French.

I am a young doctor recently graduated in Human Medicine at the University of Geneva.

Being calm and patient in nature, I try to build trust with my students to create a more relaxed environment, conducive to exchange and therefore learning courses.

For me, the understanding of a course is mainly through a structured, imaged and especially personalized learning of different subjects to enable the student to sustainably integrate the key concepts that are useful to him.

This type of contact is very important to me and is the basis of my interest and desire to teach. I believe that academic success is, of course, through learning but above all through an educational approach that takes into account several psychosocial factors that can influence children's success through an impact on their self-esteem. This particular course is intended to help students with academic difficulties concerning the two scientific subjects: biology or chemistry, or also concerning the two languages: French (especially grammar and conjugation) or Italian (Level A1 and A2).

Being a Master student in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and knowing that the curriculum of Pharmacy studies mainly includes chemistry and biology in detail, I would be able to help students with difficulties regarding these two modules in a proper way to aim for excellence.

- I am currently an IB graduate who is looking to tutor before university.
- I have studied IB chemistry and biology at higher level and these are subjects that I know quite well and am willing to teach at either standard or higher level.
- Mathematics is something that I have always been strong in, however in IB, I only took Mathematics AA at standard level so that is the capacity at which I can tutor for that subject.
- As far as the tutoring experience, I have tutored multiple students before at high school all of which greatly benefited from the experience. We would meet and they would tell me which specific subject areas they may be struggling with and I can sit down and explain the topic area, provide practice questions, recommend recourses etc.
- Tutoring with me involves sitting down, making sure that you understand the fundamental concepts of the topic area beyond just the surface level, so that you are able to apply your knowledge to a broad range of questions.
- This will be enhanced through practice questions and different ways to apply your knowledge.
