About Me
Hallo zusammen!
My name is Katharina and I’ve been teaching German for over 10 years with passion and dedication. I hold a Master's degree in German and Romance Studies and specialize in teaching German as a foreign language, both in general and professional contexts (e.g. healthcare, business, etc.). I am a certified Telc examiner and an accredited teacher by the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), with experience in integration courses and in training teachers for profession-oriented language instruction. I also offer translation and interpreting services in German.
I’m a native German speaker, fluent in Italian and English, with excellent knowledge of French and a good command of Spanish. I was born and raised in Münster (Germany), but have always had a deep passion for Italy. Thanks to Erasmus, internships, and various projects, I’ve lived in several Italian regions (Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Marche, Calabria), and I’ve been living in Syracuse for the past two years.
