Welcome! I always work interactively. This means that the student should not learn by heart stupidly, but should actively apply his knowledge, be it through conversations, writing stories or watching short videos. In my opinion, that's the best way to learn. I also include small games again and again in order to consolidate what I have learned while having fun. I already taught English at the level of the fifth grade, as well as helping with the processing of the basics and preparation for the course.
