Recorder lessons and musical training for adults and childrenTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way. The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson. For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry! I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute. If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression. Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance. Feel free to contact me to discover this magnificent instrument! VBA programming, get more out of the tools in the MS Office suite and more!Translate this text using Google Translate.

VBA programming, get more out of the tools in the MS Office suite and more!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Microsoft Office is now a virtually indispensable software suite for almost everyone, whether during our school years, through PowerPoint presentations, document creation with MS Word, calculations and graph creation in MS Excel, or during our professional lives. In the latter case, we need to get even more out of it in a minimum amount of time. Some may have noticed that it's possible to automate a series of actions by recording "macros" to save time. But have you ever considered that behind these macros lies computer code generated for you in "Visual Basic for Applications" (VBA)? Understanding this type of code and how it manipulates the "object model" associated with the application being used (for example, the worksheets, rows and columns, cells, and the values they contain, in the case of Microsoft Excel) allows you to go further in terms of automation and flexibility. The course is adaptable to the student and their level. Depending on demand and the number of sessions, it can cover the fundamentals of programming (variables, types, declarations, manipulations, local and global variables, etc.), illustrated using VBA, as well as best programming practices (error handling, using comments, standardizing variable names, code modularity), culminating in the creation of a project enabling interoperability between different Microsoft Office tools (for example, associating notes taken with OneNote with dates in a perpetual calendar created in Excel). It may even cover concepts such as object-oriented programming (polymorphism, encapsulation) and the differences between compiled and interpreted languages. The sky's the limit :))

Svilena is a very good teacher. Always on time, very friendly, motivating and dedicated. We have asked her to take over teaching our daughter after 2 initial years with someone else. We are very happy with her progress and can only recommend the teacher.

I had a very fruitful handful of lessons with Nathalie. She helped me with a french test I had to carry out for my work and I'm very happy with her method. I surely recommend Nathalie to anyone who needs to improve his/her French.

Marielle has been helping our 13 year old son with French, and we are all happy with her work. She is prepared, organised and flexible. She has good communication skills and is an all around lovely young woman. Thank you, Marielle!
