About Me

Klasse.

After a bachelor's and a master's degree in environmental engineering, and my professional experience as a researcher on mathematical modelling of environmental systems, I can help students from middle school, high school or university with their problems in math, whether they are about theory, exercises, tests or exams.

-German
-English
-French

-History
-Geography

-Latin
- Ancient Greek

-Mathematics
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Biology
-Informatics

Prospective psychology student offers tutoring in various school subjects. Whether at the student's home, via webcam or with me, everything is fine with me. Through my years of experience as a tutor, I hope to be able to help you with your uncertainties.

History Teacher from Slovenia with years of experience working one-on-one with elementary and high school pupils (ages 6-17). Offering Math, English and History lessons in Winterthur or in Zurich. In English only :)
I have a car and a driving licence.

Hi. I am Jonas. I completed my Ph.D. in Physics in 2014 and worked for 8 years as a Professor in a Federal University in Brazil, where I had the opportunity to teach a wide list of topics in physics and math. I was already awarded a Humboldt Fellowship, which is a prestigious fellowship that brings high qualified academics from abroad to Germany. I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Konstanz.

I offer private tutoring for high school and/or university-level students. I have expertise and experience in all high school topics and also in most topics at university level (classical physics, modern physics, quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, vetorial calculus, and many more).

Unfortunately, I don't speak German at the moment. So, I can only tutor in English, Portuguese or Spanish.

I can give lessons face to face in the region around Singen - Konstanz, or online via Zoom/google meet.

Please fell free to contact me in case you have some question.

Computer Science & Mathematics Tutoring

I offer personalized tutoring in Computer Science and Mathematics for students from high school / Gymi level. Whether you're struggling with a specific concept, preparing for an exam, or want to get ahead in your coursework, I tailor each session to your goals and pace.

Subjects covered:
Mathematics: algebra, calculus, linear algebra, statistics & probability, discrete math
Computer Science: programming fundamentals , data structures & algorithms.

Exam preparation:
Matura / Gymi entrance exam

My approach:
I focus on building real understanding, not just memorizing steps — working through problems together, explaining the "why" behind concepts, and giving you practice tailored to where you're stuck. Sessions are structured around your specific coursework or goals, whether that's homework help, exam prep, or learning a topic from scratch.

Background:
I'm a 2nd year student in Computer Science at ETH Zurich.

Format:
Online sessions via Zoom, with a shared whiteboard/screen-share for working through problems live. Flexible scheduling, and I'm happy to do a short intro call first to make sure it's a good fit.
