Lessons, in Italian as well as in English or Spanish, can cover the full span of art history, extending to include film studies, visual culture, and aesthetic approaches to the subject.
Additionally, we will cover study methods, if needed, as well as how to properly write a thesis, including the correct use of bibliographic references.

Extra information

Lessons can take place either in person or online, and I like to keep a light, conversational style with my students—our sessions will feel like relaxed conversations, but rich in content.

About Me

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with students and enthusiasts in the fields I work in, exchanging experiences and building relationships of trust with those who rely on me and my expertise. I studied Art History in Italy, but I have lived and traveled in many different places. I have taught Art History and History in high schools, and I currently work with university students in both Belgium and Italy, where I live and work. I love engaging in a wide range of activities and meeting new people from all walks of life.

I graduated from a classical high school and earned a degree in Cultural Heritage, before specializing in Art History and Neuroaesthetics (the branch of neuroscience that studies the bodily and neural responses involved in experiencing artworks). I have worked as a high school teacher.

Philosophy is not inaccessible! We must find the right way to approach it and give ourselves the time to get to know it. It should not be held as a secret for a small number of people. Hi! My name is Francesco and I’ve been living in Belgium since 2018. I come from a small town in Liguria, in northern Italy, and I am currently finishing a PhD in philosophy. For several years now, I’ve been giving private lessons to people who want to learn Italian for professional reasons or simply for pleasure. I have also taught two courses at an evening school in Flanders: a traditional course focused on grammar and vocabulary, and a conversation course for more advanced students. Depending on your level, we can organize the lessons as a conversation course, to develop your speaking and listening skills, and when necessary, we can focus more specifically on grammar and sentence structure.
