Do you want to learn how to figure out the chords of your favorite song by ear? Do you want to improve your harmony exercises? You've come to the right place!

My classes, despite having a theoretical focus where we discuss rhythm, harmony, intervals, and so on, also have a practical component where we put what we've learned into practice. We strive for genuine learning, not just rote memorization. The best way to learn how music works is to understand and experience it—learning each rhythm through exercises that involve the body, associating each sound with a specific feeling, understanding counterpoint through singing, and so on—not by reading a book. That's why I offer classes that are balanced in terms of both theory and practice.

These classes are suitable for students of all levels, from those with no prior knowledge to students in Elementary or Professional Studies, as well as for those preparing for entrance exams. The pace is completely adapted to the student's needs.

About Me
Hello! I'm Alicia, a final-year student of the Bachelor's Degree in Musical Performance at Musikene, specializing in Piano.

I've been giving private lessons to children for three years and working at a music school for one, and if there's one thing it's taught me, it's that I firmly believe play is a fundamental part of musical learning, with discipline being a consequence, not an imposition. Studying music has a strong element of play, which is why I believe in interactive learning that is always tailored to the individual student.

Studying music is a beautiful thing, and my primary and most important goal is to convey this to my students; I want my class to be a safe space where we can explore and grow together. So, if you want to expand your musical knowledge through understanding and play, this is the place for you :)

Do you want to learn how to build your first chords to compose a song on the piano? You've found your class!

In this applied piano class, we will focus on using the piano as a tool for experimentation and creation, rather than as an instrument in itself. We will seek to understand the reasons behind the fundamentals of conventional harmony, how to identify them visually and aurally, and what sensations to associate with each sound so that we can identify them through experience rather than memorization.

The level and pace are fully adapted to the students, making the class suitable for all levels (even those with no prior musical knowledge). The goal is not to learn to play the piano, but to use it to apply music theory and create.

Do you want to learn your favorite song but can't read sheet music or can't get that difficult part right? Do you want to take the entrance exams for the Conservatory but don't know where to start? You've come to the right place!

In these classes, we'll blend theory and practice to offer comprehensive learning at a pace perfectly tailored to the student. While my classes have a theoretical focus, covering posture, attack, rhythm, harmony, and more, they also have a strong practical component. In these practical sessions, we physically work on the technical challenges presented by each piece, using supplementary materials such as Czerny or Hanon studies if needed, always striving for an interactive and enjoyable learning experience.

As a current student, I am in close contact with the requirements for preparing for any entrance exam and have previous experience in preparing students for such exams (professional, higher, music school...); I am also in contact with the new emerging pedagogical methodologies based on play.

Therefore, I believe that my classes can be useful for starting from scratch and for students up to the 6th year of Professional Studies, either with a more defined focus (such as, for example, to prepare for entrance exams to a higher conservatory) or simply as an expansion of basic musical knowledge with a more recreational purpose.

My online classes are for people of any age interested in learning to play the accordion. The methodology and content of the classes are adapted to the age, level, and instrument of each student as well as their personal goals. My classes have a practical approach and are complemented by a theoretical component (reading scores, analysis, etc.). For beginners, I try to establish a good foundation in approaching the instrument, complementing the learning of the accordion with the student's interests. For people with previous experience with the instrument, the objective is to be able to improve and develop their skills based on the level they are at and of course according to their musical interests.

Hello! I'm Yiwen, a professional cellist with a solid background in academic training and performance. After years of study and professional practice, my mission is to help you discover the rich sound of this instrument, always adapting to your pace and personal goals.

I teach because I firmly believe that music transforms people. My goal is to impart to you not only the technique necessary to master the instrument, but also the sensitivity to enjoy every note you play.

What will you learn in my classes?
My approach is holistic, designed so that you feel progress from the first session, regardless of whether you are starting from scratch or already have experience:
Basic Technique and Posture: We will work on ergonomics and relaxation to avoid tension, achieving a clean and deep sound.

Bow Mastery: You will learn the different bow strokes and weight control to add color and nuance to your performance.

Musical Reading and Language: We will integrate theory in a practical way so that you understand the score while you play it.

Ear Development and Tuning: Specific exercises to train the ear and achieve accurate intonation across the entire fretboard.

Personalized Repertoire: From Bach suites to modern pieces or chamber music, we will adapt the pieces to your musical tastes.

Interpretation and Expression: We will not only play notes; you will learn to communicate emotions through phrasing and vibrato.
