My online classes are for people of any age interested in learning to play the accordion. The methodology and content of the classes are adapted to the age, level, and instrument of each student as well as their personal goals. My classes have a practical approach and are complemented by a theoretical component (reading scores, analysis, etc.). For beginners, I try to establish a good foundation in approaching the instrument, complementing the learning of the accordion with the student's interests. For people with previous experience with the instrument, the objective is to be able to improve and develop their skills based on the level they are at and of course according to their musical interests.

About Me

I started studying accordion in Portugal at 10 years old at the Regional Conservatory of Castelo Branco with Professor Horácio Pio. I am currently studying at the Superior School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene) in San Sebastian with Professor Iñaki Alberdi. I was part of some projects and competitions, and I have also participated in several Masterclasses with great performers such as: Veli Kujala, Stefan Hussong, Heidi Luosujärvi, among many others. I really enjoy teaching and I'm available to anyone who wants to learn this incredible instrument!

Education

From the age of 10 years old i started with the accordion in Portugal with 17 i finished the high school in music and moved to spain to continue my studies. In the moment im doing the licentiation of accordion in Musikene (Spain).

Do you want to learn how to figure out the chords of your favorite song by ear? Do you want to improve your harmony exercises? You've come to the right place!

My classes, despite having a theoretical focus where we discuss rhythm, harmony, intervals, and so on, also have a practical component where we put what we've learned into practice. We strive for genuine learning, not just rote memorization. The best way to learn how music works is to understand and experience it—learning each rhythm through exercises that involve the body, associating each sound with a specific feeling, understanding counterpoint through singing, and so on—not by reading a book. That's why I offer classes that are balanced in terms of both theory and practice.

These classes are suitable for students of all levels, from those with no prior knowledge to students in Elementary or Professional Studies, as well as for those preparing for entrance exams. The pace is completely adapted to the student's needs.
