About Me

Every hour we go through the current piece, I explain to you the easiest way to learn it and we do a few exercises to build technique. Afterwards we play as a duo with piano and violin. Important: You decide what you want to learn and which pieces you want to play.
Optionally, we can add a unit in music theory or improvisation.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you are in good hands with me! You can learn to play the violin at almost any age; I teach students between the ages of 4 and 69.

Education

Master's degree from the Mozarteum University in violin performance with distinction.
Year abroad at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Matura in Bavaria.

I have been teaching violin and viola since 2008, at universities, schools, and in my private studio, and play in orchestras and ensembles such as the Haydn Philharmonic, Bach Werk Vocal, and Salzburg Chamber Soloists.

I value good fundamentals that enable healthy use of the body and thus the expression of one's own creativity.

Maxime (violin), born in Namur (Belgium) in 1994, studied at IMEP and the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Igor Tkatchouk, Igor Ozim and Rainer Schmidt. I’m from Japan and studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. I am a professional violinist and a member of the Beija-flor String Quartet, with international experience as a soloist and chamber musician. I have performed at major festivals including the Salzburg Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and my recordings include Mozart’s rediscovered Ganz kleine Nachtmusik KV648 with Deutsche Grammophon.
