Hello! My name is Sofian and I am a student at the University of Lausanne. The piano has been my passion since very young and it's been 2 years since I decided to put my musical knowledge to good use in order to transmit this passion and to give lessons alongside my studies. -------------------------------- Important information: I am currently abroad until the start of the school year in September. Classes will resume on my return but do not hesitate to write to me now, I can be contacted at any time for more information :) -------------------------------- I offer piano lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced. The aim of the teaching is to combine pleasure, by quickly playing pieces adapted to your level, and a minimum of theoretical learning (music theory). Promise, I try to make it nice! However, each student is unique and I am not limited to a rigid learning method: pleasure above all. At the organizational level, the principle is as follows: you can choose to book 1, 5 or 10 45-minute lessons (that's what I recommend, but 30 or 60-minute lessons are also possible). At the end of each lesson, the next lesson is scheduled according to your schedule. The schedule is therefore flexible! Hope to see you soon for a class!

Guitarist for 30 years, I have acquired great experience in music. The aim of this course is to learn to play with other musicians. This is the essence of music for a musician. This course is an opportunity to play “live”, or “live”. Playing LIVE is not only playing in front of an audience, it's playing IN THE MOMENT. One of the things I see most often in class: a student playing a sequence of chords, a riff or a musical motif, who makes a mistake, and stops in his tracks to replay the missed game . This sort of thing, like leaving a blank in the passage between two chords, should not happen when you practice enough. The whole point of playing live is to keep playing even if you make a mistake. This is how we really progress. Playing live with another musician is: - play respecting the rhythm - know how to balance the sound - listen to the other, the other's game - develop your own game, while integrating and respecting each other's game - improvise, alone and / or in pairs - play in the moment, develop musical spontaneity - play without a net, “catch up” on an error, whether it is ours or that of the other musician - above all, one of the advantages of playing with other people is the immense PLEASURE that it provides - an incomparable feeling of satisfaction. - the other big advantage is that we progress ten times faster! :) A typical course will be divided into two parts: - the LIVE part, where we will play the song (s) studied - the more theoretical part, or learning, where we will return to what we have played as a basis for work and improvement As a working material / tool, we will record the live sessions, which will be used to listen again, target the points to be worked on, and as a reference for the progress achieved. In addition, the student will be able to listen and work from the recordings at home, or in his spare time. All stages of learning are important, and the usual, more “normal” lessons are fundamental, especially for those who are starting out or who are in a stuck phase, that is to say they feel limited or do not unable to move to a higher level. In all these cases, it is better to start with more classic courses. I give this kind of course too, don't hesitate to contact me, I can help you better assess your level, define your goals and help you reach them. I look forward to sharing with you my passion for the guitar! See you soon.

I am a second year student in a mature school at the Morges gymnasium. I like to pass on what I know, so I offer my help to young people who are between 6 and 15 years old in priority math classes and then, if necessary, French and English. I base my course on the level of the student and his knowledge, to see what he knows and what he still needs to acquire as capacity and knowledge.

Hello, I am Clément, a passionate musician and current student at EPFL. My musical journey began at the age of 5. For nearly 15 years, I trained at the Avignon Conservatory, working alongside several orchestras and performing numerous solo performances across France. I also hold a degree in musical studies. I have currently trained more than 10 trumpet students. My goal is to help you build a solid foundation so that you can fully enjoy music. I am open to all styles of music. I adjust my teaching approach with each student to promote their learning. The trumpet is a demanding instrument but it also offers an escape and an incredible joy which is (in all objectivity ;) ) comparable with any other instrument. Depending on your needs, an introduction to music theory can be added to the course. Whether you are a novice or already have some basics, this trumpet course is open to all levels. I hope to have the opportunity to share my passion for music with you!

I propose cello lessons for all ages, all levels, and all walks of life: Whether you are already in a conservatory course, as a tutor, and to help you prepare your competitions. Or if you chose this beautiful instrument from 7 to 77 years, to address classical repertoires, jazz, rock, be able to improvise ... etc My teaching is based on the listening of the student, in order to transmit to him techniques and solid knowledge, in the pleasure of the music. The teaching of music theory can be done separately, with a very playful approach, or be integrated into the learning of the instrument!

I offer musical initiation lessons, fun and instructive, for children from 6 years old. Through multiple games and activities (singing, piano, rhythm and improvisation), children learn and discover music while having fun! My method: a global approach to music, to promote the motivation of the child (he learns while having fun) and his development. This method will allow him to work on his memory, his listening or his motor skills. Thanks to games, the child learns to read notes, to put his voice, to reproduce rhythms, to listen ... while having a good time. I adapt these activities according to the child's age, strengths and difficulties. By giving your child the basics of music theory, singing and piano, these lessons constitute a complete musical initiation and can perfectly prepare an entry into a conservatory or a music school.

Hey it's Jad, specialist of education in Switzerland. In 2014 I started an assistant work for the first year at EPFL. During these years of assistantship I realized how much I appreciated teaching. In particular, I discovered a real passion for the learning process. After completing my master's degree in mathematics at EPFL, I started a master's degree at the HEP (2016/2017) to become a teacher in secondary II (high school) that I have not finished. Indeed, this year was a sort of disappointment in the sense that gym and public education did not fit my vision of teaching. Since the beginning of 2017, I have embarked on school / university coaching based on modern concepts (which are taught nowhere in Switzerland) such as motivation, self-efficacy, memorization, creativity and management. emotional.
