About Me

My piano lessons are about having fun with music and improvising to express your feelings and convey them to the listener. This can be in different genres. Classical, jazz, pop. You may also want feedback on your own creations. I am very open to this, because my goal is to produce music, even more so than to reproduce it.

In my lessons we will talk about what the student needs. And we will look at what the student needs week by week. Maybe I'll give you homework to listen to certain artists or ambient sounds. Or I give a classical or jazz piece to work on skills.

Education

I am studying at the Utrecht Conservatory, the Musician 3.0 course. This is a course in which you improvise with your instrument to express your feelings. And to transfer your feelings to the audience. This can be expressed musically, but is also focused on performance art and movement. A lot of different expressions to make your voice heard on stage.

Hello!

I offer piano lessons for people at any level. I have experience with beginners, intermediate and advanced players. I have experience with students from age 12 to senior students.

I have experience playing and performing music from the Early Baroque to Contemporary Music. Nevertheless, my expertise remains in music from Bach to post-romantic and neoclassic composers. I also have experience performing piano Spanish music (Manuel de Falla, Isaac Albéniz, and Enric Granados).

I also offer Music Theory, Harmony, Solfege, Musical Dictation and Ear Training Lessons.

I have some notions on Jazz piano, and I can definitely teach Rock and Pop piano. Nevertheless, my expertise remains in Classical Piano playing and performing.
