Preferably to own a guitar, keyboard or piano of any type depending on what you want to learn, otherwise, we can communicate and find ways to bring you the instrument that you need, unless it’s a 300kg piano...sorry...maybe in the future?
Guitar is my main instrument. For Voice, Piano, I can teach for a beginner or intermediate level, but I will try my best if I see that you are inspired to become a professional. Anyway, online or at your place, can’t wait to meet you!

About Me

Paul is a passionate musician who captures the energy of different eras with his classical guitar. Although he currently studies classical music at the Fontys Academy of the Arts, Paul masters a wide range of musical genres.

His musical journey started in Lugoj, a small town in Romania, where he started taking violin lessons at the age of 6. He gained stage experience through interpretation competitions, collaborations with blues bands and inspiring master classes with musicians such as Pablo Marquez, Aniello Desiderio and Remi Jousselme.

The love for music was brought to him by his grandfather, a jazz and Romanian folk guitarist from the ’80s. As a child, Paul was fascinated by the vibrations of the guitar, a fascination that fueled his passion for music. He also learned how to feel at home on stage through years of Romanian folk dance lessons.

Hello!

I offer piano lessons for people at any level. I have experience with beginners, intermediate and advanced players. I have experience with students from age 12 to senior students.

I have experience playing and performing music from the Early Baroque to Contemporary Music. Nevertheless, my expertise remains in music from Bach to post-romantic and neoclassic composers. I also have experience performing piano Spanish music (Manuel de Falla, Isaac Albéniz, and Enric Granados).

I also offer Music Theory, Harmony, Solfege, Musical Dictation and Ear Training Lessons.

I have some notions on Jazz piano, and I can definitely teach Rock and Pop piano. Nevertheless, my expertise remains in Classical Piano playing and performing.

I would prefer not to teach at my place since I am currently living in a student house with a lot of people living in it... But if you are OK with this, then I see no problem!

I cover the practical and theoretical basis (think of scales and note reading, for example), but there is also room for the more fun side of playing the piano. Think of learning the pop songs or classical pieces that you like!

When you receive lessons from me, we will first listen calmly and focused to what the student wants to learn. But the most important thing I want to give the student is to enjoy making music. This can be in any genre, classical, jazz, pop songs or zooming deeper into theory. Improvisation is a big part of my lessons. In addition to fun, this often also provides a very good idea of what the student wants to say with the instrument. I see it as my challenge to convey my knowledge in a focused but relaxed way.

I am currently still in the third year of my studies at the Conservatory in Utrecht. Here I am studying the Musician 3.0 course. This is a course aimed at improvising.
