I often mentor people who are just starting out, helping them develop their interest in the instrument and play the music they love.

A lot of students come in with anxiety about how good or fast they're going to be able to learn. I work to build a respectful, supportive environment where you feel comfortable developing and learning at your own pace.

For intermediate and advanced students, I teach with a particular focus on fundamental technique through études, and developing musicality.

Oftentimes, as hobbyists, we have holes from our early studies that prevent us from developing later in life. My aim is to help correct that. You should leave with renewed confidence to tackle pieces that have intimidated or eluded you in the past.

We will work on several topics as recognition of the instrument, technique, reading, repertoire, harmony, ear training and composition among other topics. The lessons are in English or in Spanish by the moment. I will reply gladly any questions you have.

My method is based on each student in particular. It doesn't matter your leveI, I enjoy teaching to people who have a commitment with music and art. I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin.
