Piano: Free your playing from tension, pain, and blockages

You play the piano but something prevents you from being completely free?
Tensioned shoulders, strained forearms, painful wrists, rapid fatigue, passages that get stuck despite hours of work... Or simply that feeling of having to force yourself to play.
That's precisely where my work begins.
I offer you personalized work to understand what, in your way of playing, creates tension, fatigue or blockages and to gradually regain a more natural, freer and more efficient movement.
As a student of Monique Deschaussées, I was deeply influenced by her approach to the body at the piano: posture, breathing, use of weight, support, freedom of movement and search for natural movement.
This approach informs my own work as a concert pianist: I give more than 150 concerts a year, mainly recitals, in extremely varied repertoires. Physical freedom is therefore not a theoretical concept for me: it is at the heart of my daily performance practice.
Depending on your needs, we can work:
— tensions, friction and blockages in the game
— posture, support, weight and freedom of movement
— technically difficult passages
— sound and touch
— piano technique
— musical interpretation and construction
— working methods and autonomy
— memorization and stage preparation
We work from your playing style, your body, and your repertoire. I don't offer a one-size-fits-all method.
Classical, pop, rock, film music: my repertoire is particularly vast and I insist that the technique always remains at the service of the music you wish to hear.
Before we begin, I propose a first 20-minute video conference, free of charge and without obligation.
You tell me about your background, the difficulty you are facing, and what you want to change. Together, we determine if my approach meets your needs and what form of work would be most appropriate.
If your issue is suitable, I can also offer you more in-depth, personalized support.
Because playing the piano shouldn't be a struggle against your own body.
Extra information
Before our first session, I offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute video conference to get to know each other, understand your problem and determine if my approach meets your needs.
Classes can be held in Paris or via videoconference.
You can prepare a piece or passage in which the difficulty is particularly apparent. This way we can start from a concrete situation.
In case of persistent pain or diagnosed pathology, my educational work naturally does not replace medical or paramedical follow-up.

About Me
I am a concert pianist and a state-certified piano teacher.
The stage occupies a central place in my life as a musician. Today I give more than 150 concerts a year, in recital and in very varied contexts, from classical repertoire to film music, including pop, rock and song.
For the past four years, I have notably been a solo pianist for the Candlelight concerts, with more than 300 concerts in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
I like to convey a living, free and deeply musical piano. For me, technique only has meaning when it allows the pianist to express themselves with greater freedom.
My teaching is very individualized. I observe the gestures, the body, the way a student approaches a difficulty, but also the way they listen and practice. I am less interested in imposing a method than in understanding what each pianist needs to progress.
I enjoy working with passionate adults, pianists returning after a break, but also advanced musicians who wish to overcome a technical, physical or musical block.
My goal: to help you become the pianist you want to be, with more freedom, enjoyment and autonomy.
Education
State diploma for piano teachers
Advanced piano training at the CRR of Paris and at the École Normale de Musique de Paris.
A disciple of Monique Deschaussées, a leading figure in French piano pedagogy, whose work on the body, gesture and freedom of the pianist profoundly shaped my own approach to the instrument and its teaching.
