Hi! Originally from London and working in Paris, I propose to give English lessons to help the student improve his speaking skills as well as his writing skills. I have learned from learning foreign languages that nothing works better than the intervention of a native speaker in the learning process. About Me

Hi again! ...... I'm glad you arrived so low on my page. That means you're interested and hopefully we'll be in touch soon! To give a little more information about me: I am a recent graduate of University College London (UCL) and I obtained a master's degree in Comparative Linguistics, which helps me a lot in teaching English. as a foreign language. I also have a TEFL qualification and my accent and pronunciation come from the standard pronunciation of British English studied all over the world (Received Pronunciation of British English).
My tutoring experience spans approximately three years, during which I have consistently helped students achieve the best results. - Graduated with Distinctions (First Class Honors) from Heythrop College and University College London in Theology, specializing in textual criticism in the ancient language.
- Master in Classical Languages and Literature with specialization in Comparative, Historical and Reconstructive Phonology. During my studies, I worked with the following languages at different skill levels: Classical Greek, Latin, Aramaic, Hebrew, Sanskrit and Quranic Arabic. I also studied German and Italian (having spent time in the city of Rome) as well as French, which I came to improve in Paris.

My alumni included two doctoral students, a neuroscientist who specializes in sleep studies in the US military, and the son of Voice of America journalist Luis Ramirez. My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
3. The "Montreal Method": Having worked for two and a half years in Quebec, I use a North American pedagogy that is very focused on encouragement, clear structure and student autonomy.
4. Summary & Objectives: We end each session with a recap of the key points so that the student knows exactly what to revise.

What makes the difference: As a philosophy student, I don't just teach authors; I teach the methodology that allows students to think for themselves about major philosophical concepts.
