About Me

I am an American who lives in Paris for a long time, and I speak French fluently. I played for 10 years in the orchestra Manu Dibango, and with Arthur H. and Jacques Higelin, and currently I lead a large ensemble "L'Orchester de la Lune". I also perform in small jazz bands, such as Jean-Claude Montredon's quintet alongside Alain Jean-Marie, Stéphane Belmondo and Michel Alibo.

My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities.
Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun.

I graduated from the CNSMDP (National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris) in Saxophone Jazz (Master).
I teach saxophone for all types of levels and styles. I like to approach learning this instrument through oral transmission rather than through methods or scores. This is how I learned music and jazz in particular. (I also oriented my dissertation around solo recording and learning through imitation.) My name is Loris, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a student at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in the jazz department. I've been playing saxophone since I was 14 and previously studied in Germany, where I'm from. Since I started playing, I've performed in various big bands and solo projects, such as the South German Youth Jazz Orchestra. For my own projects, I've toured throughout Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
