About Me
I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) biology tutor with hands-on classroom experience teaching Introduction to Biology to 9th graders for three years. I love helping students build real understanding instead of just memorizing terms — breaking down tricky concepts like cell structure, genetics, and ecosystems into ideas that actually click. I work well with students who are curious, a little intimidated by science, or just need things explained in a different way than their textbook does. Sessions can be in English or Spanish, whatever helps you learn best. My goal is to make biology feel approachable, not overwhelming.
Education
Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University (2015–2019) and Master of Science from Montclair State University (2020–2022).
Experience / Qualifications
Three years of classroom teaching experience delivering Introduction to Biology curriculum to 9th grade students, covering topics such as cell biology, genetics, evolution, and ecology. Comfortable adapting lessons for different learning styles and skill levels, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to tutor students in either language depending on their needs.

For high school students, I am well-versed in advanced topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and the intricate details of chemistry and biology. My goal is to not only assist students in understanding and mastering these subjects but also to instill in them a sense of curiosity and critical thinking that extends beyond the classroom.

For primary school students, I recognize the importance of building a strong mathematical and scientific foundation early on. My tutoring sessions for younger students are designed to be interactive, incorporating visual aids and practical examples to make learning enjoyable and memorable. By fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, I aim to instill confidence and a lifelong appreciation for these fundamental subjects.
