Want to speak real Chinese, not just textbook Chinese? I can take you there — step by step, with zero confusion.

I'm a native Mandarin speaker offering private one-on-one lessons online, for complete beginners through HSK learners:

- Complete beginners: pinyin, the four tones, greetings and everyday conversation — you'll be speaking from day one
- HSK 1–6: structured exam preparation with vocabulary, grammar, listening practice and mock tests (I use my own bilingual HSK courseware)
- Kids: fun, visual lessons with games and bilingual materials designed for young learners

Every lesson comes with my custom bilingual notes (Chinese + pinyin + English), so reviewing after class is easy. Lessons are 30–50 minutes, held online via Zoom or Google Meet.

Hello! I am a native Chinese speaker and have been living in France for 6 years, where I completed my studies. I speak fluent French and English (C1 level), which allows me to clearly explain the specific difficulties faced by French speakers: tones, pronunciation, characters, classifiers, and word order.

What I propose:

HSK preparation: vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading comprehension, sample exercises and tips for exam day.
Business Chinese: emails, meetings, presentations, negotiation, professional etiquette and work culture in China.
Conversational Chinese: for travel, communicating with friends or family, or simply gaining fluency in speaking.
Chinese by interests: cinema, series, music, cuisine, travel, technology, etc. You learn with the subjects that fascinate you.

My method:
Each lesson is tailored to your goals, level, and pace. From the very first lesson, we'll discuss your needs to create a personalized program. I adapt to both complete beginners and advanced learners, alternating explanations in French or English (if necessary) with practical exercises in Chinese, to help you progress naturally and motivatingly.

For who ?
Beginners, students, professionals, travelers or enthusiasts of Chinese culture: all levels are welcome.

Feel free to contact me to discuss your project. I would be delighted to assist you!

**About My Classes**

Hi! I’m Leona, a native Mandarin speaker currently working as a full-time Chinese teacher at a secondary school in Thailand. I also teach Chinese online and specialize in HSK exam preparation.

I hold a CTCSOL certificate and have experience helping learners prepare for Chinese proficiency exams. My Mandarin pronunciation is clear and standard, and I focus on practical, structured methods that help students improve their performance and achieve measurable results.

**My Teaching Approach**

My main specialty is HSK exam preparation. I help students identify their weaknesses, set realistic study goals, and develop a targeted study plan based on their current level and exam date.

My lessons focus on the skills that matter for the exam, including vocabulary retention, character recognition, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and practice with HSK-style questions. I use diagnostic exercises, targeted drills, mock tests, and regular feedback to help students understand their mistakes and improve systematically.

All the students I have trained for HSK exams so far have passed their respective exams. However, results depend on each student's starting level, effort, and consistency, so I cannot guarantee a particular result.

**Who Are My Classes For?**

My classes are best suited to self-motivated learners who have a clear goal and are willing to put in consistent effort outside class. I provide structured guidance and practical methods, but students are expected to complete assignments and take responsibility for their own progress.

Please note that my approach is intensive and practice-oriented. Some exercises, particularly listening repetition and dictation, can feel repetitive and challenging at first. However, consistent practice is essential for building the skills needed to perform well in an exam.

I also offer general Mandarin lessons and can help business professionals improve their Chinese communication skills. For business Chinese, I go beyond vocabulary and expressions to explore the cultural context of communication in Chinese workplaces.

If you are looking for a structured, goal-oriented approach to learning Chinese, I would be happy to help you work toward your goals.
