Hello parents! My name is Sandra. I am a native English speaker from New York State. I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. I have worked at two IB primary schools. Alongside teaching at international schools, I have 8 years of experience teaching English. I also have experience teaching grade 1 and 3 in elementary schools in New York State. I have taught children from 2-17 years old and adults. My students range in levels from beginners who are new to learning English, to fluent English speakers that need support or would like to further excel or maintain their fluency. Based on my experiences, I have learned to adjust my teaching style based on different students' needs, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and learning abilities.

Lessons are provided to children and teenagers. Lessons are customized to the learning needs of your child. Whether that be learning English for the first time or practicing improvement of speaking, reading, comprehension, pronunciation, listening, writing, grammar, etc. Lessons can be aimed towards learning a topic such as food, animals, sports, emotions, and more.

For children who are fluent English speakers, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

Depending on the students age, lesson duration is adjusted. If you are looking for lessons for siblings, please reach out to me to discuss the best schedule for your children. My aim is to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment for all my students.

I hope you can join my English lessons! Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I can provide my resume or reference letters if requested. Looking forward to hearing from you.

English is truly a global language. It is indispensable in business, travel, and many other areas of life. Developing your ability to hold a conversation in English will open doors to meeting new people, reaching new clients or customers, and much more.

Our classes will be held either online or in person. We will engage in a conversation on a topic of your choice (or mine), after which I will provide feedback and corrections to help you refine your pronunciation, grammar, and overall conversational skills in English.

I look forward to hearing from you soon! :)

My language lessons are always tailored to the student. I provide interaction, the pupil will be encouraged from the start to experiment with the Dutch language, always within the pupil's own perception of the world, so that what is learned is placed in a personal context and automatically supplemented with elements that are specific to the pupil.
I have a number of fine methodologies at my disposal, but I also work with ease with material that the pupil has brought from school or from home, or else will select material to measure.
I have been teaching Dutch as a second language for 20 years and have a master's degree in education with a specialization in learning disabilities.

I provide Dutch tutoring, for example in reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. I also teach the Dutch language: conversation, spelling, grammar, reading, and NT2 (Dutch as a Second Language). I listen carefully to what is needed and adapt my lessons accordingly. I am a patient, flexible, and friendly person, and I like a lighthearted atmosphere in class.

Do you need help learning Dutch/NT2? Do you or your child need extra help and support in the Dutch language, in speaking, listening, writing, reading, spelling... I am an experienced Dutch teacher. I have a personal, patient approach and I offer a mixture of fun and seriousness during my lessons.I have plenty of lesson- and exercise material.

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher who is excited to help you achieve all of the goals you have set for yourself on the journey of learning English. I combine elements of traditional methodologies with some less traditional methods and approaches that I have extracted from my own experience with learning, as I am someone who speaks several different languages and am therefore very familiar with this process and what it takes to get better at a new language. I look forward to showing you how simultaneously efficient and fun learning a new language can be.

General English: I design the English course based on your personal needs, interests, and motivations. Based on your profile and existing level of English, the course would focus on a specific combination of grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

English for academic purposes: This course would cover the key aspects of English needed in higher education and academic contexts. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, the course trains the key receptive and productive skills needed in higher education. Receptive skills involve reading and listening to academic texts. Productive skills involve writing and speaking for academic purposes (e.g., research papers, research proposals, essays, presentations, and others).
