About Me

My name is Katinka, I'm starting my English class for Chinese speakers here on Apprentus.

I understand that English can be especially difficult for Chinese speakers — my partner also struggled with this, which is how I discovered that I am quite good at teaching. My pronunciation is easily understandable and I have an American accent, as I learned English in the United States.

I explain slowly, patiently, and give every day examples to make life more easier and understandable using English. For simpler words, I can even help with Chinese language examples.

Who am I?
I am a master's student in education (Germanic languages).
I have been learning English for over 10 years and I did an Erasmus exchange last year with a course entirely in English and German.
