United States History Tutoring and Teaching - Online
From 18.68 C$ /h
Having a good grasp of your country's history (or the history of a country you are moving to) is important, and to be able to achieve that, you need to be able to understand it in a meaningful way. My goal is to help you do just that! Our lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning styles, and you will be tutored in an attentive and patient environment.
I will tutor and/or teach any era of US History from the founding of Jamestown in 1607 to the beginning of Obama's presidency in 2008 (which is roughly where most high school and middle school U.S. History textbooks end). If need be, I will stick with students throughout the entire year. Once I am told where we need to start, and I assess what lesson type would fit the student the best, I will begin with our lesson plans.
Classes and tutoring ARE offered year-around, 7 days a week (though availability in terms of time may vary). This is to give students the availability to access help and education throughout the year, anytime, on a schedule that suits their needs.

About Me
Hello! I am a sophomore college student looking to gain experience in working with students through tutoring. I have been passionate about history ever since my first real history class in middle school, and that interest has stuck with me up until now. The knowledge I have gained in working with my subject matter has allowed me to help peers and underclassmen succeed in mastering class material in both United States History and World History.
I am free a majority of days, almost the entirety of the afternoon to early evening hours, and I will work with students to tailor a comprehensive lesson plan that suits them and their needs. If pricing is too high for any classes, please feel free to reach out to me personally and we can negotiate prices. I will forever believe in accessible, affordable education, and I will do my best to make sure my students can access just that.
