About Me
As an educator, I believe that my mission is to teach and learn particular subjects that will challenge students to be independent learners and develop sound reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Moreover, as a teacher, I have to contribute to the empowering of the students to understand the connections within mathematics, as well as applications of mathematics and statistics to other disciplines.
I am prone to a student-centered approach in teaching and always try to let students play an equally active role in the learning process. My primary role as a teacher is to coach and facilitate student learning and comprehension of the material. I am also keen to implement an individualistic approach that promotes a student’s independent and individual work. I usually try to combine lecturing, demonstrating, collaborating, and classroom discussion methods.
