This course provides an in-depth introduction to biostatistical methods and multivariate analyses applied to environmental and biodiversity sciences and biology. It aims to equip participants with the tools needed to analyze and interpret complex data from ecological studies, with an emphasis on the practical application of statistical methods.
The topics covered include:
✅ The basics of biostatistics (descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, statistical inferences)
✅ Multivariate analysis methods (ACP, AFC, RDA, CCA, etc.)
✅ The use of specialized software (R, Python, or others) for visualization and interpretation of results
✅ The application of statistics to biodiversity studies and community ecology
Through case studies and practical work, participants will learn how to manipulate real data and extract relevant information for decision-making in environmental sciences. This course is intended for students, researchers and professionals wishing to strengthen their skills in data analysis applied to biological and ecological sciences.

About Me
Passionate about the environment and biodiversity. I have a PhD in environmental sciences and am an expert in the study of planktonic populations (phytoplankton and zooplankton), especially taxonomy and morphological and molecular species identification. Through my research and international experiences in France and Spain, I have developed advanced expertise in data analysis and plankton taxonomy, water quality, ecotoxicology, the functioning of aquatic ecosystems, biostatistics, bioinformatics, ecology, environment and sustainable development.
In parallel with my scientific work, I have a great interest in teaching and sharing knowledge. Having acquired a solid command of French, Arabic and English, I wish to support learners in their linguistic journey through an interactive and immersive approach. My goal is to make language learning accessible, stimulating and adapted to the needs of each individual.
I worked for 4 years as a part-time teacher at the university, in the faculty of medicine and biology. I also have more than 3 years of experience in teaching support courses in foreign languages, mathematics, physics and science for students.
In addition, I provide training in the identification of freshwater plankton and taxonomy, as well as in bibliographic research and the use of Mendeley and EndNote software, writing scientific articles, etc. I have also provided training and freelance work in statistical analyses applied to ecology and biology.
