About Me

I am a teaching assistant with 5 years of experience teaching children in years 1-4.
I have worked with a range of learning abilities, focusing for the last 3 years on children with special educational needs.
I have recently completed training in dyslexia awareness, autism awareness. Both of these courses taught us learning tools to help children living with both dyslexia and autism to learn.

After completing my GCSEs in school, I completed my NVQs in Supporting Teaching and Learning at my local college. I have taken several online courses with support of my work place and am currently doing a degree with the Open University.

As well as 5 years of experience working with children in a school environment, I have NVQ levels 2&3 in supporting teaching and learning, Austism Awareness level 2-5, Dyslexia Awareness levels 2-5 and and BA in Childhood Studies. I am currently completing a BA in Child Psychology.
