About Me

When I was five years old, I traveled to Africa and became fascinated by all the different languages and dialects of that beautiful continent. My polyglot life at home with my French mother, my Portuguese father, and a black and white television showing primarily American and British movies in the original version every evening. And, of course, I shouldn't forget to mention my dear Belgian grandmother from Flanders, who lived through the second world war learning German as perfectly as possible. My journey through Western Europe started a few months after my 18th birthday when I got to know Spain, France, Germany, and Denmark. It was in Denmark that I got my Danish language...

At Aarhus University (Denmark), I was a grammar teacher and also started teaching French, Spanish, and Portuguese in Danish. In Italy, I taught English in Italian; in France, Spanish in French; and in Peru, I became the pedagogical and languages coordinator at Headway College.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
