👋 Hi! I'm a Biophysics graduate from Ain Shams University. I help students understand physics and science instead of just memorizing formulas.

📚 In our lessons we will:
• Understand each concept and why it works before using equations
• Learn how to approach problems on your own, step by step
• Practice together and learn from mistakes
• Review progress at the end of every lesson and plan the next one

🗣 I can explain in Arabic or English, whichever helps you understand better.

🚀 Send me your topic and level, and let's plan your first lesson!

👋 Hello! I am a biophysics graduate from Ain Shams University, and I help you understand physics and science instead of just memorizing the laws.

📚 In the lessons: We understand each first concept and its meaning, and then you learn to deal with the issues yourself step by step. We practice together and review the mistakes, and at the end of each lesson we summarize and plan for the next one.

🗣 I will explain in Arabic or English, whichever is more comfortable for you.

🚀 Send me the material and your level, and we'll start with a plan for the first lesson!

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology).

My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including:

- Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics.

- Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more.

- Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc.

- CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks.

- Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA.

My research and teaching interests are diverse, including:
• Additive manufacturing
• Mechanical metamaterials
• Acoustical metamaterials
• Electromagnetic metamaterials
• Aeroacoustics
• Soft matter and soft robotics
• Fatigue and fracture mechanics
• Experimental mechanics
• Multiscale numerical modelling
• Biomaterials
• Porous materials
• Manufacturing of medical devices and implants
• Deep learning
• Image processing
• Topology optimization
• Origami and Kirigami structures
• Self-folding and self-assembly structures
• Tissue engineering
• Permeability in porous materials
• Fluid-Solid Interaction

I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter.

If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Welcome to my Foundation Course in Science and Maths, specially designed for primary, secondary, and high school students in Amsterdam. This course aims to build a strong foundation in these critical subjects, ensuring students excel academically and develop a genuine love for learning.

My teaching approach is focused on making learning enjoyable and engaging. I incorporate interactive activities and hands-on experiments to bring Science and Maths concepts to life. By involving students in these dynamic learning experiences, I aim to transform abstract concepts into tangible understanding. Each session is thoughtfully designed to keep students interested and motivated, minimizing fatigue and maximizing retention.

I believe in simplifying complex topics, breaking them down into easy-to-understand segments. This approach helps students grasp and retain challenging concepts with ease. Techniques such as mnemonic devices, visual aids, and real-life examples are integral to my method, ensuring that formulas and concepts are not just memorized, but truly understood.

Regular assessments are conducted to track student progress and identify areas needing improvement. These tests also prepare students for their school exams, ultimately boosting their confidence. I understand the importance of keeping parents informed and involved in their child’s academic journey. That's why I provide weekly reports detailing their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. This continuous feedback loop ensures that parents are aware of their child’s development and can support their learning at home.

Encouraging words and positive feedback are integral to my teaching method. I strive to build students' self-confidence and to instill a love for learning through positive reinforcement. Setting achievable goals for each student, I celebrate their successes and motivate them to strive for excellence. This goal-setting approach not only drives academic success but also fosters a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

As a tutor, my satisfaction comes from seeing my students excel and reach their full potential. My ultimate goal is to empower students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in Science and Maths. I am always available to support my students, offering additional help and resources as needed to ensure their success.

I foster an open environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how simple they may seem. This curiosity drives deeper understanding and encourages a proactive approach to learning. By incorporating games, puzzles, and interesting activities, I ensure that learning remains fun and engaging, keeping students excited about the subjects.

Join my Foundation Course in Science and Maths and watch your child develop a strong foundation, confidence, and a genuine love for these essential subjects. Let’s work together to achieve academic excellence and make learning a fun and rewarding experience. “Excel in Subjects, Soar in Confidence!”

Hi, my name is Federica and I am an astrophysicist. I obtained my PhD from ETH Zürich and, for over ten years, I have been working in international research teams, contributing to space missions such as ESA Euclid and NASA Roman, and collaborating with scientists from all over the world.

For more than ten years, I have also been active in teaching, tutoring and science communication. In my teaching approach, I consider it essential to listen to the student, understand their needs, and identify the way they reason and learn best. This is key to creating a truly personalised learning path that motivates them to engage with the subject and gradually take on more advanced learning challenges.

I helped several students to strengthen the foundations, identify strategic points early, and progressively work towards more advanced problem-solving and exam preparation.

I do not believe in a standard “one-to-many” lesson, but rather in a learning path designed to genuinely consolidate the student’s knowledge, help them become progressively more independent, and make them aware of the practical and interdisciplinary applications that a particular subject can have in their academic journey.

I am fluent in Italian and English, and I am currently strengthening my knowledge of French. Thank you for your attention.
