I've been an educator for over 20 years and have a Master's degree in Specific Learning Differences. I specialize in working with students with dyslexia and/or ADHD in literacy and math and am Orton-Gillingham trained. I've taught in public and private schools in the US, Singapore, and Bali, and I have been a private tutor for more than 10 years. My goal is to help kids build competence and confidence in foundational skills through individualized instruction that fits their evolving needs. I am currently based in Asia and available to work with students remotely worldwide. I am also able to coach parents on accommodating their children's needs at home.

About Me
My greatest passion is helping students achieve a growth mindset through building foundational skills in Literacy and Math. When skills improve, confidence is gained and academic achievement is a reality. I was a Biology teacher when my son was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2010. His struggle inspired me to learn everything I could about the neurobiology of reading challenges and to complete a Master's degree in Specific Learning Differences with specialization in dyslexia education. I then became certified as an Orton-Gillingham language coach and tutor and have learned dozens of research-based methods of teaching Literacy and Math. I have had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students in schools and through private tutoring and look forward to helping your child overcome their own academic challenges.
