Hello Apprentus students and families!

My name is Nora and most of my students call me Miss Lou or Coach Lou. I’m so excited to be joining Apprentus as a Life Success Coach and Reading Interventionist.
I am a Certified I am a Life and Career Success Coach, as well as a Certified Best-in-Class Reading Specialist with over 1500 Reading Tutoring sessions delivered so far. My experience of over 15 years working in Education with children and young adults, hands-on in Schools, Youth Sports Organizations, and Consulting directly with Families gave me real-life, diverse experience, in what I need to focus on in my work with Young People.
It all started from serving as a K-12 Special Education Teacher, Behavior and Reading Specialist in a school district setting in Florida, to Co-Founding an Individualized Instruction Non-Profit K-8 School Program in the heart of San Francisco for struggling students, to Directing and Launching the Online Programs at a K-12 Computer Science Education Company in Seattle. For the last 3 years, and forward, I have been a dedicated Life & Career Success Coach and Reading Specialist/Interventionist for Young People (Ages 5-18) online and in-person.
I am so passionate about building fun and creative lessons that are proactive in their approach for Young People and are of high quality, evidence-based, and most importantly deliver lasting RESULTS.
Young People of today feel under-equipped to handle the difficult choices, obstacles, and possibilities they encounter on daily basis during this crucial time in their lives. My main purpose is to EMPOWER as many Young People as possible, and help them become the best versions of themselves to achieve their Personal, Education, and Professional goals.
