I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Currently a final year Master's student in International Studies, I offer courses in Arabic, French and history-geography. My two mother tongues are Arabic and French, which I teach to different audiences (children, teenagers, adults), in school settings or in private lessons. I also have a degree in history, which allows me to offer solid courses in history and geopolitics, related to my academic field of specialization. My classes are adapted to the needs of each learner: refresher courses, academic support, conversation, exam preparation or learning French as a foreign language. I favor a caring, progressive and structured approach, to allow everyone to progress with confidence.

I am a Doctor of Psychology and researcher. Since October 2016 I have been successfully tutoring many B.A. and M.A. and Ph.D. level students and professionals who required help with Psychology (AS, A-level, and Degree level), Data analysis, SPSS, jamovi, JASP, R, Statistics, Research Methods, or were looking for assistance with their research projects/ theses/ dissertations. I am specialised in Clinical Psychology (reading disability/ dyslexia), although I have good knowledge in other fields of psychology, as well as research methodology and data analysis (expert in SPSS). I would love to help students with the knowledge I have in individual live one-to-one sessions online via Skype/Zoom. I can also recommend literature on a particular subject and send something I already have in my database.

If you need help with any Psychology or Chemistry, this is the class for you. I have other areas of knowledge, such as Mathematics and Physics, so just ask and I may be able to tutor you in those areas too. This is only for students at A-level or below. Furthermore, this is not a counselling service, I can teach you about Psychology, but I am not qualified to assist with any psychological issues that you may have.

History is one of the most important subjects for any student to understand. In addition to being part of a student's core curriculum, an understanding of history is essential for viewing the world in an informed manner. Through this course, we will learn about US & European History at the middle and high school levels. Rather than exploring history through dates and memorization, we will view history through the lenses of causation, continuity and change over time, and comparison.

Passionate about history, I am at your disposal for any help you would need for the writing of your presentations, end of studies and dissertations in EDM / geography / human sciences and French. Favoring efficiency, I restructure and correct your texts (or your courses) to make your subjects as alive as possible. All seriously, but always in a good mood. I commit myself to correct you and to send the tests regularly after having fixed a schedule of work. But you remain responsible and master of your TFE / memory. Passionate about history and geography, I offer dynamic courses tailored to each student, from middle school to high school. My goal is to make these subjects lively, concrete, and accessible, giving meaning to the programs while effectively preparing students for assessments and exams (brevet, baccalaureate, etc.). Together, we will work on key concepts, methodology (document analysis, writing, sketching, understanding instructions, etc.), perspective, and the ability to make connections between the topics studied. I adapt to each student's level and offer a variety of materials to make the sessions interesting and interactive. Whether you need to brush up on the basics, improve your GPA, or aim for excellence, I'm here to help you gain confidence and succeed. History and geography aren't just about learning dates or maps; they're also about learning to think for yourself and better understanding the world.

In these sessions I will help you to gain a better understanding of the content you are learning, as well as, help you to understand your assignment topics and how best to answer them by aiding you in building your critical thinking and essay writing abilities so that you can achieve the best possible results. I also provide proofreading and study skills.

I'm currently working on my thesis. I took a literary preparatory class with an average of 16.5 in philosophy. I'm currently an "independent philosopher." I'm very interested in aesthetics, phenomenology, and the humanities and their approaches to urbanity! My favorite theme is the notion of dwelling. My approach will consist, mainly, of learning methods so that you are more efficient in your work - time is precious! As for knowledge, I will adapt it according to your needs/requests. I look forward to talking about it more fully and – why not – practicing it!

My classes are designed to offer support and reinforcement, adapting to the needs of students of all levels. The goal is to reinforce content, answer questions, and prepare for exams. I work in a personalized way, taking into account each student's pace and using appropriate materials, including materials tailored to each subject.

Need help with studying World history or English? Come on down to study with me. I have a bachelor's in Anthropology and Theatre. I have a wide range in both fields of the humanities. We will be focusing on history and the important human connection intertwined with each. This will give us a deeper understanding of the customs we have and seeing how they evolved to our present era. With a special connection to English since the humanities is a writing heavy skill this will naturally overlap. I hope to study with you soon.

Everyone who engages with politics (which is to say, everyone) has an ideology. But not everyone is conscious of- let alone consistent in their ideology. In fact, most people’s conscious politics are nothing more than an inconsistent aesthetic. But anyone who has a world they long to see owes it to themselves to at least be self aware of their own ideology, and they should probably also familiarize themselves with others as well. I can help on both fronts. This 10-session class serves as an introduction to the concept of political ideology. We will begin with a brief overview to various major academic theories of ideology, before moving on to a taxonomical survey of different ideological genuses and families, both “thick-centered” ideologies, that is, ideologies with a comprehensive core specific enough that they can stand on their own as it were, such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and fascism, and “thin centered” ideologies, which have much broader and hence much less specific cores, and hence must attach themselves to other thick centered host ideologies in order to fully manifest themselves, such as populism, nationalism, feminism, and ecologism.

This course introduces secondary and sixth-form students to the evolution of global civilizations, with a focus on comparative history, political thought, and social transformation. Drawing on 30+ years of experience teaching History and Liberal Studies in Hong Kong—including at A-Level and university level—I guide students through themes such as colonialism, revolutions, global conflicts, and modern political ideologies. Each lesson combines primary source analysis, critical discussion, and structured writing skills (essays, arguments, and document-based questions). Ideal for students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, or international entrance exams.
