Political Science, International Relations and Government
This class is aimed to provide guidance and help for anyone studying political science, government or international relations. I aim to structure all my lessons to broaden my student's worldview, challenge their assumptions and test the logic of their arguments. I am able to bring a unique synthesis of perspectives to all my lessons to help my students to use political science, government and IR theories to analysis current global issues. I also have a strong background in essay writing and logic which I use to help test and strengthen the theses of their essays.
As this is an ever-evolving field, I feel learning is very much a two-way process, and try to use dialogue, discussion and contextual materials and examples to build the student's understanding. I really enjoy this field and try to bring my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience to every class I teach.

¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? I have been speaking Spanish for seven years and studied it as a minor in my Bachelor's degree. I have lived and volunteered in Spain and travel there regularly, aswell as read, speak and write in Spanish daily. Not only do I have a strong understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary and a deep love of the language but I also understand how to learn it, as it is my second of five languages.
As I have done when teaching Spanish in the past, I'm able to understand the conceptual gaps and differences between the student's first language (particularly if it's Latin or Asian) and work with the student to jump over those hurdles towards greater comprehension. I use a communicative approach which focuses on building the student's fluency and confidence. Finally, I have a strong understanding of Spanish and Latin American culture and history, and so am able to use interesting and contextually relevant materials to keep lessons engaging and lively.
My basic premise is that anything you can say, you should be able to write. My strengths are in thematic reading of the text, literary techniques and essay writing. I usually work with the student to help them build a strong understanding of the text, and its wider historical and social content, before helping them to understand its themes and key ideas. From there I work with my students to strengthen their writing (factual or creative) and building of their own ideas on paper. I use a variety of exercises and mediums (film, poetry, novels, rap etc) to achieve this.
As writing is an ever-evolving field, I feel learning is very much a two-way process, and try to use dialogue, discussion and contextual materials and examples to build the student's understanding. I really enjoy this field and try to bring my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience to every class I teach.
I have deeply enjoyed Australian and European History since high school, where I received top marks, through university to the present, where I still read and learn history on a regular basis. I am most familiar with Australian history from European arrival, through Federation and the conflicts of the 21st century, through to present day. However am always trying to improve my knowledge of Indigenous history. I have also studied extensively Australia's global relationships over time, with countries such as the UK, the US and China.
Regarding European History, I am familiar not only with the impact of wider trends such as the printing press, reformation, industrialization and colonization across history but also with the specific histories (and personalities that make them) of the UK, France, Germany, Russia and Spain.
I have deeply enjoyed US History since high school, where I received top marks, through university andto the present, where I still read and learn history on a regular basis. I am most familiar with mainland history from US Independence to the present day, however am always trying to improve my knowledge about Native American history, and the territories. I have also studied extensively the impact of the US on the wider world and its relations with the global community.
I believe it is important to teach history from a wide variety of perspectives. In recent years, I have particularly tried to focus on history retold from the perspective of those left out of the traditional view, which is really just anyone who isn't a white, upper-class, European male. This broader and more complex view of history leads to a more nuanced understanding of the past, particularly from a social perspective.

I usually work with the student to help them build a strong understanding of the text, and its wider historical and social content, before helping them to understand its themes and key ideas. Tips and Tricks for Sociology Essay Writing, Targeted to GCSE and AS/A Level Students.I am eager to help young people feel confident when writing sociology essays. I will place an emphasis on deconstructing the questions students are given by encouraging them to reword the question to offer a different perspective on it. In addition, the main aim of a sociology essay is to convince the reader more and more of the argument you have claimed in the introduction. I want to help students do this by helping them follow the PEAL structure, i.e. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link back to question. I have found this a very effective and coherent way of structuring an essay. I have studied Sociology for 7 years now, at AS/A Level, Undergraduate Level and now at MSc level at LSE. I was awarded First-Class Honours in my undergraduate as well as 'Best Dissertation of the year' by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am seeking a potential career in academia so I truly feel passionate about engaging with the lesson plans on this platform and helping students feel confident in their essay writing.

I teach you to speak and/or write with an approach to the sciences of political communication, international relations, social and human sciences while convincing the person(s) in front of you with several negotiation techniques.
▪️ Political communication is about the creation and exchange of ideas and opinions between citizens, public officials, political institutions, and related entities, such as the media. It includes discourse throughout the political process in local, state, national, and international political systems, as well as how political information can be exploited for political ends or to achieve political goals. People with a background in political communication may work in policy advice, foreign service, market research, public relations, journalism, and digital media, community organizing, lobbying, political campaigning, or other related fields.
