From 49.96 C$ /h
I offer online 1:1 tutoring sessions for GCSE Physics. I can aid students in GCSE or test revision, consolidate classroom learning, and build key skills needed for Combined Science GCSE or Triple Science GCSE.
I am a calm tutor who champions my students’ progress. I explain complicated concepts by breaking them down into bitesize chunks. My approach to teaching involves getting a rigorous grasp of the students’ current understanding in order to locate the source of a misconception.

About Me
My educational background includes a BSc in Astrophysics from Royal Holloway, during which I won the Mary MacPherson Essay Prize for Journalism. I was awarded a full scholarship to study an Astronomy and Space Physics Master’s degree at the University of Turku, Finland. I then completed my ProfGCE in Secondary Science from the University of Portsmouth, an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ teacher training provider. This led to my achieving qualified teacher status.
I have worked with students from a wide variety of backgrounds, and with a wide variety of predicted grades. I have also taught many students with English as an additional language, and know how to adapt my tutoring sessions to different students’ needs.
