I've been a teacher since 2014.
My very first job was as bioreactors engineering lab teacher. It was new for me but I got the job because on the recruiting process I proved them I could help them to be more transdisciplinary and have a better understanding of the biological process that was taking place like fermentation and kinetics. I totally loved it, I got very good feedback and rating from the students (as they grade us at the end of the semester), I won appreciation and good networking and my coworkers as well.
Every project I've been involved needed to comprehend large amounts of information, identify sources of information applicable to a given problem, develop organizing principles to effectively sort and evaluate data, learning fast, using computer software and databases, design experiments, plan, tests potential resolutions and implements a solution, respond appropriately to positive or negative feedback, mentor, teach skills and concepts, manage a project or projects from beginning to end, Identify goals to be accomplished and a realistic timeline for completion, prioritize tasks, maintain flexibility in the face of changing circumstances, organize and communicate ideas effectively in oral presentations to small and large groups, use logical argument to persuade others, resilience. Proficient in techniques such as: cell culture, WB, cloning, imaging, FISH, transfection, transformation, virus isolation, qPCR, PCR, RT-PCR, purification of recombinant proteins, crystallization of proteins, etc.
