About Me
Hello !

1. Personal presentation:

Graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Saint Joseph University USJ, I decided to continue my studies in this field and more particularly in biology because I noticed that I love scientific thinking and reasoning, as well as everything related to the human body, diseases, heredity. This is the reason why I chose a research master's degree entitled: functional genomics and proteomics, in other words pure genetics. I was lucky to be accepted into the research laboratory in cardiac physiology and pathophysiology of the faculty of pharmacy-Paris-Sud University in France where our teamwork allowed us to discover new procedures to stop the disease. heart failure. In recent years, I have become a physics, chemistry and biology teacher in college as well as helping more than 15 students in their studies; after school (from sixth to final).

2. The study methodology:

Rest assured that our session together will not be boring, on the contrary! I aim for each session to be different from the other, dynamic, rich, lively and I guarantee that I will not close the session if I am not sure that you have assimilated the concepts studied together very well. Each session will be broken down as follows:
A. Review of the entire course (knowing how to target the course objectives).
B. Application exercises after each part of the course (to make sure everything is clear).
C. Final recap (reverse class, or a small recap video…).
D. A little exercise (kind of a must to realize that you can send it to me in order to correct it and I will send the result to your e-mail address with my comments).
I am always available for any additional questions, even if our session is over.

As a third-year Pharmaceutical Sciences student, I learned the importance of good explanations. I enjoy sharing knowledge because I see how much difference clear explanations and patience make to someone's understanding and motivation. The moment something becomes clear to a student is incredibly motivating.

My lessons are structured and tailored to the student. We start with objectives, cover the material step by step, and practice with specific focus.
I explain connections, ask control questions and adapt my explanation until it really clicks.
I ensure that the material is truly understood through questions and repetition!

"The science and chemistry teacher is a magician who uses logic, transforming the rigid blackboard into a living world, and turning the chaos of experiments into order and understanding."

Teaching science and chemistry is not simply about transmitting information; it's the art of transforming "mystery" into "discovery." Here's a comprehensive description of the essence of this educational process:

1. Science: The Journey to Find the Truth
Teaching science is about teaching the student how to think, not just what to know.

Building a curious mind: The teacher begins by stimulating innate curiosity, by asking questions that begin with "What if?" or "Why does this happen?".

The experimental approach: transforming the lesson from theoretical talk to a "small laboratory," where the student learns to formulate hypotheses, experiment, and monitor the results.

Linking to reality: Connecting natural phenomena (such as lightning, gravity, and plant growth) to scientific laws so that the student feels that science explains his daily life.

I teach Biochemistry through a clinically integrated and concept-driven approach designed to build deep molecular understanding while directly linking biochemical principles to human physiology and disease. My instruction emphasizes the translation of biochemical mechanisms into clinical reasoning, enabling learners to interpret laboratory findings, understand pathogenesis, and apply metabolic knowledge in real medical contexts.

Core Areas of Instruction

My teaching covers foundational and advanced topics, including:

Enzymology: Kinetics, inhibition, regulation, and clinical correlations of enzyme dysfunction.

Metabolism: Carbohydrate, lipid, amino acid, and nucleotide metabolism with integrated regulatory control.

Molecular Biology: DNA replication, transcription, translation, epigenetics, and gene regulation.

Bioenergetics: Mitochondrial function, oxidative phosphorylation, and metabolic adaptation.

Clinical Biochemistry: Biochemical basis of disease states such as metabolic disorders, endocrine abnormalities, and inherited enzymopathies.

Laboratory Interpretation: Mechanistic understanding behind biomarkers, metabolic panels, and diagnostic assays.

Teaching Methodology

Instruction is structured to ensure mastery rather than memorization. Students are guided to:

Analyze biochemical pathways as dynamic, regulated systems rather than isolated reactions.

Understand why abnormalities occur at the molecular level in disease.

Apply biochemical reasoning to clinical scenarios and problem-solving exercises.

Develop long-term conceptual retention through pathway integration and mechanistic mapping.

Educational Philosophy

Biochemistry is presented not as an abstract basic science, but as the molecular language of medicine. By integrating physiology, genetics, and pathology into biochemical teaching, students gain the ability to connect molecular events to patient-level outcomes, forming a strong scientific foundation for advanced medical study and clinical practice.
