My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed, providing support and approaching students with patience. I assign homework after every lesson and provide regular progress reports making sure the parents/carers are involved in the learning of the child and to track their progress.

I aim to support students to achieve their academic goals. On a daily basis I support individuals with mental health to achieve their goals.
I have dedicated a number of years to achieve a Bachelor's and Master's in psychology focused field. Currently, I am completing a level 2 in Counselling with the focus of continuous progression in my career. I feel this is attitude to have around children to motivate them to remain determined to achieve their academic and career goals.

English Literature is an extremely important and, for many students, compulsory part of education. This class is about improving the skills needed for close, thematic reading of both old and more contemporary texts. Using overarching themes found across literature, as well as giving suggestions for other relevant texts, this class aims not only to help pass any exams, but to also enrich your understanding and appreciation of the subject.

Outside of exams, especially for any adults, this class can be a more freeform discussion of novels or poetry for anyone who wants to enjoy literature on a deeper level but isn't quite sure where to start or what avenues of thought to explore.

I am a graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a first class degree with honours in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences.

Mathematics is an essential subject studied by all students from prep school to GCSE class. Having adequate Maths knowledge also helps students understand science subjects such as Physics and Chemistry. Studying Maths has always been fun for me since I love finding the most efficient way to solve problems. I understand that not all students feel this way and that is why I am here to teach students not only the fundamental methods to solve Maths problems but also how closely related Maths is to our real world.

In my lessons, I will use Key Stage, AQA, and GCE Maths books with sample papers to explain the content thoroughly to my students. I will also offer class notes written by myself specifically for my students to help them grasp the knowledge in a clear layout.

Having completed both my GCSE and A-level studies in the UK, I have firsthand experience of studying and taking these exams and hope to deliver my tips to my students. I am fluent in English although my native language is Mandarin Chinese. Finally, as an older sibling, I have experience assisting my sister the whole way through her GCSE exams. I believe I am patient and eloquent when teaching younger students. I look forward to getting to know my students and helping them ace their upcoming exams.
