Class/Seminar discussion about literature is so important when it comes to forming opinions on a text, allowing you to shape arguments that will define your essays and exam answers. A lot of you who are not able to go to school at the moment because of Covid-19 will be missing out on these crucial opportunities. This class will offer you the opportunity to ask questions, bounce off another person's perspective on a text, and get some one-to-one specific feedback on your essay writing. We will take themes, motifs, language apart in in-depth analysis, and apply this exploration to essay writing practice.

I am a recent graduate in English Literature from a Russel Group university, I have 3 A*s in my A-levels and the Deputy Editor for my student newspaper. I have academic and professional experience in writing and editing, as well as a profound love for education and literature. This class can be whatever you need it to be- let me know what texts you are studying and I can design a lesson tailored to exploring the text in line with your exam board.

For reference, I studied the Eduqas A Level for English Literature, but have also done A-levels in OCR and can tailor the session around whatever exam criteria you are working to.
