Hi! My name is Theasha and I'm a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher with more than 3 years of experience teaching kids and adults online. I specialized in teaching kids, helping my students learn the English language from beginner to advanced. Every time your child reads a text, 50 to 70 percent of the words he or she encounters are Sight words. Reading can become slow and discouraging without knowledge of high-frequency sight words.

These words are the most common words that are presented frequently in reading material. Children need extra practice learning these words, many of which can't be represented by simple pictures.
