I'm a young, flexible and open-minded teacher who makes his best to respect my students' learning pace and personal needs. My classes are designed for all age groups. I have experience with young people as well as adults: I adapt my method according to each person's rythm and difficulties. I encourage reflection and internalization of concepts, vocabulary and grammar rules. On the other hand, I prefer to avoid (if possible) learning by heart. I value dialogue and communication during the lesson, as this helps to establish a relationship of trust. I have already prepared students for language certifications, exams and tests, or simply to discover a new language. I can provide a formal vision of the language, but also a more sociological study, including the language of young people and the varieties present in everyday life. We can either choose (together) a grammar book on which your learning process will be based on, or we can co-create the space and objectives step by step. I do not mandatorely assign homework, but I propose activities or exercises to practice the language: you are responsible for your learning process :)

About Me
I'm a 24-year-old recent graduate in "Italian as a Second Language". Despite my young age, I have several experiences in the field of tutoring. Before entering the details of my teaching path, I want to share what's important to me. I value very clear communication of each other's needs and emotions, spontaneity, authenticity, flexibility, and a trustful human relationship with my students. Even though my role is to teach, I try my best not to create a Power-Over dynamic, where I have more power (to speak, to say what's wrong, etc) than the student: I consider myself on the same level as you and I just want to support you in this whole journey of learning a language. I'm a contemporary dancer and painter. I bring my experience with body fluidity and the creativity of painting work into my teaching method.
More concretely, along the way I studied one year in Trento (Italy), the second year in Strasbourg (France), and the third year in Besançon (France), where I developed a broad and deep knowledge of the French language. In addition to various tutorials and private lessons, I also worked in one of the high schools in Besançon (Franche-Comté) for a few months. After that, I helped a class of university students obtain a language certification, and I also accompanied a group of adults in their discovery of the French language. In addition, I taught Italian in two university classes in Leipzig, Germany, where I studied for the last two years. I work with middle school, high school, and university students, as well as adults.
Among my students are those who need to learn the language for work, others for study purposes, and still others simply for personal interest. I have always been able to modify my teaching method to suit the learners and their needs. I always offer the possibility to teach in a preferred language among English, Italian, French, or German. Learning a foreign language means sharing, opening up, broadening horizons, training the brain, and seeing our own mother tongue with different eyes.
