I feel grateful for the chance of sharing the gained knowledge and experience I got in Italy. Being one of Italians means something more than speaking their language, BUT
The language is still the key skill of communication success!
As a teacher by vocation, I find my student's results the most satistying thing! Such as university enrollment and a passed citizenship test of Italian as well as language skills progress & positive feedback from our classes. I can provide the latter upon request.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!
