Online classes will last one hour. The first 45 minutes will focus on subject knowledge, before applying this knowledge to exam practice in the final 15 minutes. Homework will be set regularly, which will aim to consolidate learning from the lesson.

An assessment of the students strengths and areas of improvement within the subject will be carried out during the first 20 minutes of the first lesson. This will allow for a detailed learning plan to be created to ensure student success in their final exams.

Progress reports will be carried out at the end of each half-term (approximately every 6-8 weeks), to allow parents to see content covered and exam performance.

I am a qualified Geography Teacher with four years experience in secondary and further education, teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5.

I believe that geography is a subject of great importance, due to its direct application to the world we live in. I am incredibly passionate about the subject and aim to pass on this passion to the students I teach by making geography come alive, through real world, up-to-date case studies.

My teaching is structured through the following three principles:
(1) Teacher modelling - explaining content to students through clear steps
