From 48.3 C$ /h
What can we say about me:
Adaptation is my strong point
empathy
pedagogy
and of course my mastery of english and french
TOEFL IBT
My goal is to establish with the student a working methodology allowing him to learn and understand with confidence. Establish a schedule allowing him to reconcile studies as well as his other activities so as to leave nothing aside while being effective.
We will also see how to organize and approach the exam periods
We will establish methods for different types of situations
ex:
End of semester exams
Written homework to be returned during the week
Supervised homework, or questions (more frequent types of assessment)
But also working and learning methods when the unexpected arises

I am a business student. I first started with an English LLCER license (Languages, Literatures and Foreign and Regional Civilizations) at Paris Diderot la Sorbonne University. Having a strong interest in the English language, it naturally occurred to me to study its literature, grammar, American and British civilization. I also studied what is called "creative writing" and phonetics. I was fortunate to be surrounded by professors from the largest universities such as Berkeley. Being also interested in the business world, I then headed for business studies. My higher studies have always been entirely in English, whether at the University of Paris Diderot la Sorbonne or in a business school.
My teaching experience:
In 2019, I taught French for two months (replacement of a
teacher on sick leave) in Dutch-speaking Flanders, Belgium. My students were high school students,
before last year of high school, in professional section "horticulture". This
the experience was very rewarding. Teach French to students I don't know
not speaking the language at all was a real challenge! Indeed, the first difficulty I and
my students having to cope with is the language barrier. At that time, I did not
spoke or understood Flemish, while they understood very little or
not French at all. In order to best meet the expectations of my students I
got what I needed as a student. We have together
make a list of what they wanted to learn, why and how
they wanted to learn it. I also during the first course tried to
learn more about my students to adapt the course content to their profiles. The
most of my students were playing video games and / or playing a sport
competition. I started from that to teach them for example the difference
between the compound past and the imperfect eg: taking examples with the
soccer . The students worked in landscaping.
We have come to the conclusion that it would be interesting for him to know the
vocabulary of their future profession to have the opportunity to work in the
French-speaking part of Belgium or even in France. We have developed
a list of gardening tools they used during their practical course.
As the class liked the challenges and had a little competition I made them
learn vocabulary using the Quizlet tool. Quizlet is an application that
allows you to revise to create your own "flashcards" but also to create a
vocabulary list and learn it in the form of video games. We have at all
beginning had trouble communicating and explaining a concept without speaking the language
birth of my students was a real challenge. However, I think that ultimately
it was an asset. Some students were a little uncomfortable that he could not
say a word in French but after seeing that I (the professor) had the
same difficulties in their languages, they gained confidence. They knew it
had no trouble trying and sometimes getting it wrong. Learn French to
foreigners allowed me to find different methodology to teach the
language and think differently the transmission of a language that must be said
complicated to master and in a fun way. I always tried to leave the
person in itself and create a real interest in the material.
