Experience / Qualifications
I have worked for an entire summer at as a camp leader. In this role, I had 15 children to organise and do activities with for 10 hours per day. It is here that I found my passion for working with children, and I learned more about how to engage with young people and the kind of things they enjoy.
Recently, I became an ambassador against anti Semitism which I had to go on a course to achieve. From this experience, I now understand how to engage large groups of people
I have volunteered at York Explore Library and helped run and organise events at Acomb Explore Library. I have run summer reading challenge events for children, this has helped to develop my communication and leadership skills.
I have volunteered in younger children’s music lessons. This taught me how to be authoritative and work as a leader in a cooperative way
