One of the best ways to make sure that a student learns well, is to ensure that they care about what they're doing, and the best way to ensure that is to step back and allow students to curate their own experience. Learning is about you, and I make sure to tailor my lessons to your skills, what you need, and what you find interesting.

About Me

Currently studying for my MA in English Literature, I am a writer and teacher from Lincolnshire in the UK. I completed my BA (Hons) in English at the University of Lincoln in 2019, and completed my PGCE in English at the University of Hull during the first half of 2021. I love teaching and decided to put my skills and qualifications to good use while I move forward in my own education at Masters level, by tutoring students online.

I strongly believe that students learn best when they are engaged with the subject and have interest in what they're learning. To this end, I give people who take me on as a tutor a large amount of control in what they learn and when. If there is an area you feel particularly important to work on, or a method by which you feel most comfortable learning, I believe it's the role of a tutor to support you in that rather than following any prescribed rules they may have.
