I am able to help students by giving them an understanding of what the topic entails and what examiners are looking for. This includes understanding how to answer questions by looking at the marking criteria and specifications given by the exam board. I have had incredible success with this methodology as I do not dictate my own ideas onto a student but help them find their own pathway. I have year-long and term-long lesson plans that I share with students that break down the topic into manageable bites. Through this, I find that I am able to supplement learning.

By doing this, students do not learn to rely on me to give them the results but rather learn how to find the results themselves. I like to find out how each student likes to learn and plan personalized activities that take advantage of their strengths and improve their weaknesses.
