I have had a desire to tutor due to it’s one to come connection that can be built between both student and teacher. Having teaching being made more comfortable for students and allowing them to fully express their needs is my main goal within my sessions.
Using my experience working at a highscool, I have tried and tested many alternate methods used to help students to achieve to their full potential.
Methods typically exclude breaking down the typical class content into simpler terms which helps these students to be accessing the same education as their peers- at a level which is more accessible for them.
I have worked with both EAL (English as an additional language) and SEND (children with special education needs) and therefore are qualified to understand the needs of students who can often feel left out or overwhelmed in mainstream education.
