About Me

As a professional in the Italian arts and crafts trade with over 25y of experience I started my career working in Rome as a conservator and art restorer for private and public sector clients. I have worked either as an independent and under national contracts for museums and private corporations connected to the fine arts world specialising in conservation and restoration of the national cultural and artistic heritage including the Vatican state museums, long term contracts in different institutions then free lancing for an extensive period of time I am now an independent professional artist focusing only on traditional Italian academic painting techniques lending my skills to passionate budding artists regardless of age gender and culture.
Along the way I have been hired to teach in workshops throughout Europe and often in the middle east training students in art schools and one to one tutoring where cultural and social rules only allow private tuition.
My approach to Painting never focuses solely on the technical aspect mechanically refining skills by repetition rather I use a holistic approach reaching to the inner artist and leading the way to expressing freely the potential artistic worth focusing on personality and desired subject matter goals .personally I believe that technique which is honed by refining acquired skills must develop organically bringing personal growth and artistic craftmanship .

Many of my students thanks to personal tutoring have used this opportunity to apply to art schools and academies along with clients fulfilling a life time desire to unleash their artistic potential .
