About Me

I teach because I enjoy sharing knowledge about the subjects I am passionate about, especially history.
I am a teacher who prefers to get close to my students' way of thinking, to get to know their interests, to adapt the way I teach to them, especially the references and analogies with which to link the subjects. This is important because most of the time, in the education system, history is shown to us as information to be memorised, to which we find no relation or influence on our daily lives (at least this is how I have felt it as a primary and secondary school student in my country, and I have seen how the students I had in schools still thought this way).
I would say that my vocation and practice of teaching are inspired by how I would have liked to have had classes as a student.
As a teacher, I would like to transmit curiosity for the generations that preceded us, for the processes that led to the world we live in and for generating awareness that the social, political, economic and cultural structures in which we live are not immovable or eternal, but are part of a long process of changes, adaptations and permanencies; that as they have turned out, they could have been otherwise, and therefore they are transformable today as well.

History teacher, graduated from the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. Part of my training was carried out at the Universität zu Köln (Cologne, Germany) thanks to the ISAP scholarship granted by the DAAD institution.
I am currently working on my thesis for my degree in History.

I have been teaching at the university by participating in the teaching of classes as an Assistant Professor of Argentine History 1 at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, during the years 2020, 2021 and 2022. I am still working on research projects in this department.
I have been teaching in secondary schools since 2022, which are very diverse in their socio-economic levels, so I have to adapt to the different types of students and the resources that the institution can provide.
